Lieve mensen,

Lekkernassûh is onder andere ontstaan vanuit het idee dat het goed zou zijn een alternatief te bieden voor lange, wereldwijde voedselketens. Die zijn vaak kwetsbaar en, op zijn zachtst gezegd, niet altijd even gezellig voor mens, dier en aarde.

Wij bouwen aan een alternatief dat wél werkt: gemeenschapsvorming. In het geval van Lekkernassûh is dat een gemeenschap van boeren en burgers die gezamenlijk zorg draagt voor ons eten. Met korte lijnen naar en meer bestaanszekerheid voor boeren die met liefde en respect voor de natuur voedsel produceren.

Voedsel is essentieel op dit moment en gezonde voeding al helemaal. Angst voor schaarste zorgt voor lege schappen, terwijl er voedsel in overvloed is bij de boeren! Voor hen zijn wij een belangrijk deel van hun afzet en daarom is het juist nu zo belangrijk om je groente bij Lekkernassûh te halen.

Wij gaan er dan ook alles doen om te zorgen dat al dat lekkere en gezonde eten op tafel terecht komt. De deelnemers willen dat ook: extra veel mensen hebben zich aangemeld voor een groentepakket deze week en in de laatste paar dagen hebben we flink wat nieuwe inschrijvingen gekregen.

Er komt veel creativiteit en gemeenschapszin los – en dat is mooi om te zien. Met ons allen bedenken we handige oplossingen zodat de markt kan blijven draaien, de idealen van Lekkernassûh gerealiseerd worden en wij ons met elkaar verbinden.

Lekkernassûh was born out of the idea that it would be good to offer an alternative to long, global food chains. They are often vulnerable and, to put it mildly, not always pleasant for people, animals and the earth.

We are building an alternative that does work: Community building. In the case of Lekkernassûh, this is a community of farmers and citizens who jointly take care of our food. With direct lines to and more security of exsistence for farmers who produce food with love and respect for nature.

Food is essential at this moment and healthy food is even more important. Fear of scarcity creates empty shelves, while there is plenty of food available at the farmers! We are an important part of their sales channel for them, which is why it is – especially now – so important to get your vegetables from Lekkernassûh.

We will therefore do everything to ensure that all that tasty and healthy food ends up on your table. The participants want that too: A lot of people have registered for a vegetable package this week and in the last few days we have received a lot of new registrations.

A lot of creativity and community spirit is unleashed – and that is nice to see. We all come up with useful solutions so that the market can continue to operate, the Lekkernassûh are realised and we connect with each other.
