Week 40: 5 oktober

Er zitten komende week weer een paar niet-alledaagse groenten in ons pakket: groenlof – lekker uit de oven met kaas – en gele biet – ook uit de oven met tijm, salie en hazelnoten bijvoorbeeld. Maar ook verveine of ijzerkruid, als frisse smaakmaker. Weet jij al wat jij gaat maken? Wat het ook wordt, geniet ervan!

Kom je je pakket ophalen bij de Gymzaal? Vergeet dan niet om je fiets uitsluitend in de daarvoor bestemde rekken (aan de overkant van de straat) te plaatsen. Dit in verband met overlast voor de buren. Bij voorbaat dank!

Je kunt je Timebank uren gebruiken om je groentepakket, maar ook bijvoorbeeld kaas of producten van de verpakkingsvrije winkel mee te betalen. Timebank uren verdien je door bijv. op de markt mee te helpen. Meer weten? Kijk dan hier.

Deze week hebben we een aards pakket voor je klaarstaan. Een voorbode voor de heerlijke herfstgerechten die binnenkort op ons bord liggen. Probeer eens de beste verhouding tussen pastinaak en kastanjechampions in een stoofpotje te vinden. Vermeng deze intense smaken met knapperige walnoten en frisse tijm en klaar is je lekker-binnen-blijf maaltijd.

De oogst is volop op gang, en dat zie je terug in het goedgevulde pakket van aankomende week. Net als de afgelopen paar weken hebben we weer een aantal groenten van ons oogstaandeel bij Hoeve Biesland. Misschien ben je na een vakantie in het buitenland wel toe aan een lekkere simpele stamppot met zomerpostelein, wortelen of rode biet? Of ga je toch nog voor wat zomerse vibes met een heerlijke pasta met venkel of een gratin met groenlof? Wij hopen in ieder geval dat jullie weer gaan genieten van deze heerlijke groeten!

The harvest is going on full steam, and you can see it in next week’s well filled package. Like the last couple of weeks, we have multiple vegetables from our harvest share at Hoeve Biesland. Maybe you’ve been on holiday abroad and are craving a simple mash with summer purslane, carrots or red beets? Or would you rather stay with the summer vibes by making a delicious pasta with fennel, or a gratin with green chicory? Whatever you make, we hope that you will enjoy these lovely vegetables!

Week 30: 27 juli

Deze week zitten er heerlijke kruiden in het pakket van Kievit uit Katwijk en Hoeve Biesland in Delfgauw. Heerlijk om bijvoorbeeld groenten op de barbecue mee op smaak te brengen, of een lekkere pastasalade. Wist je dat de oer-komkommer ook bij uitstek geschikt is om mee te bakken, omdat hij steviger is dan de ‘normale’ komkommer? Prima geschikt om te grillen, wokken of in een groentetaart te verwerken dus (voor meer informatie en inspiratie, kijk hier eens).

Tijdens de zomervakantie zijn een aantal locaties een paar weken dicht, of hanteren we andere openingstijden (zie locaties en openingstijden). Locatie Mozartlaan is gesloten van 13 juli t/m 17 augustus, locatie spinozahof van 3 augustus t/m 17 augustus. Wil je alsnog een pakket ophalen? Dan kun je je locatie aanpassen naar een locatie die in die week wel geopend is.

Next week we’ll have some delicious herbs in the package, grown by Kievit in Katwijk and Hoeve Biesland in Delfgauw. Delicious to season vegetables on the barbecue, or a scrumptious pasta salad. Did you know that the heritage cucumber (‘oerkomkommer’) is especially suited to bake with, because it is more firm than a ‘regular’ cucumber? Perfect to grill, wok or use in a vegetable cake.

During the summer holiday, some locations are closed for a couple of days, or have different opening hours (see Locations & Opening hours). Location Mozartlaan (formerly Wonnebald) is closed from 13 July until 17 August, location Spinozahof from 3 August until 17 August. Do you still want a package? Then you can change your location to one that is open during that time.
